  • Exam Date – 15 February 2026 (Sunday)
  • Result Declaration – 18 March 2026

Candidates must complete the application process within the given time frame. No forms will be accepted after the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT JAM 2026

To be eligible for JAM 2026, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline of science or be in the final year.
  • For General/OBC/EWS: Minimum 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 out of 10.
  • For SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 50% marks or CGPA of 5.0.
  • There is no age limit to appear for IIT JAM.
  • Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the specific paper they apply for.

How to Fill IIT JAM 2026 Application Form

The entire application process for JAM 2026 will be conducted online through the JOAPS portal. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website: jam2026.iitb.ac.in
  2. Register using your name, email ID, and mobile number.
  3. Log in to the portal using your credentials.
  4. Fill in personal, academic, and communication details.
  5. Upload scanned photograph, signature, and documents (category/PwD certificate if applicable).
  6. Choose your paper and preferred exam cities.
  7. Pay the application fee through online mode.
  8. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

Make sure all details are accurate before submission. Incorrect or incomplete applications may be rejected.
